How “Yoga By Kelly” Was Created

Where it all began.

Kelly’s yoga journey was inspired through her experience in working with individuals who experienced trauma and mental health challenges. Knowing that many of these struggles come from dissociation where the body and mind can split causing a disconnect that creates dis-ease, discomfort, and hardships within one’s life. Once our body-mind connection becomes synchronized and aligned, illness (physical or mental) can be released and be dissolved. We can live the life we came here to achieve.

Having an extensive background in psychology, crisis care, and trauma and mental health recovery, Kelly saw how conventional therapy would allow the individual to only get so far in their treatment. She understood that in order to heal the mind, body, and soul it was important to combine modern therapeutic modalities and the usage and manipulation of energy within the human body, as well as the auric and quantum field.

Yoga is more than exercise. It helps align people with their true authentic Self. Once we come to know and accept who we are from the soul out, we can become powerful sentient beings. It is through movement (energy) and mindfulness (breath and concentration) that our body-mind communicates to bring forth the perfect healing needed to be whole. People who have experienced this connection find that when their internal environment is in resonance with the Self, their external environment reflects the same coherent frequencies.

Yoga By Kelly was created to bring energy healing, somatic movement, and psychology together to help individuals achieve a balanced and harmonic life from the inside-out.
