Today, we have created a mindset that everything we do is important and must be done with urgency. Our everyday lives demand our immediate attention which fuels a non-stop body and mind. We are never slowing down due to busy schedules and obligations that are constantly keeping us on the go. With so many options, lesser boundaries, and more freedom, we never take breaks to focus on what is most important. The selfcare of our mind, body, and soul.

If we were to take a 15-minute yoga break 2-3 times a day to focus on creating a healthy climate in our mind and body, we can improve our physical and mental health. In addition, to calming the nervous system, the systematic flow of stretching releases muscular tension throughout the body. It helps increase circulation, improves digestion, and assists in the elimination of toxins making yoga a useful tool for treating a variety of health conditions.
